This role focuses on orchestrating the entire demo vehicle lifecycle to ensure seamless customer experiences during the critical evaluation phase of the car-buying journey. It requires meticulous fleet management and coordination with the sales team to maximize vehicle utilization and maintain premium brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the scheduling and dispatch of all test drive vehicles to ensure availability for both pre-booked appointments and walk-in customers.
- Ensure all demo vehicles are in showroom condition, including cleanliness, fuel levels, and mechanical fitness, before every customer interaction.
- Verify customer documentation, including valid driving licenses and signed indemnity forms, to ensure legal compliance and safety standards.
- Coordinate with the workshop team for timely periodic maintenance, insurance renewals, and accidental repairs of the test drive fleet.
- Maintain accurate digital logs of vehicle movement, mileage, and fuel consumption within the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Analyze test drive feedback and conversion data to provide actionable insights to the Sales Manager for improving the sales funnel.
- Plan and optimize standardized test drive routes that effectively showcase vehicle features while ensuring safety and time efficiency.
- Monitor the GPS tracking of vehicles to ensure staff adherence to designated routes and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Valid permanent four-wheeler driving license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
- 3-5 years of experience in fleet management or sales coordination within an authorized automotive dealership.
- Strong geographical knowledge of the local city and surrounding areas.
- Proficiency in using Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and CRM software.
- Ability to work a standard 6-day work week including weekends.
- Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.
Preferred
- Previous experience working with a premium or luxury automotive OEM.
- Certification in defensive driving or specialized product training from an OEM.
- Fluency in English, Hindi, and the local regional language.

Certifications: Valid Indian Four-Wheeler Driving License (Mandatory), OEM Product Knowledge Certification (Preferred)
Work Environment
This is a 100% on-site role requiring active movement between the showroom floor, vehicle bays, and customer locations. Standard working hours are 10 AM to 7 PM, 6 days a week.
