Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed damage inspections and prepare accurate job cards and cost estimates for accidental vehicles.
- Liaise with insurance company surveyors to facilitate timely vehicle inspections and claim approvals.
- Monitor the repair workflow in the workshop, ensuring denting and painting quality meets OEM standards.
- Manage the complete insurance documentation process, including cashless claim approvals and final bill submissions.
- Communicate regularly with customers regarding repair progress, parts availability, and expected delivery timelines.
- Verify final repair quality and explain the work performed and insurance deductions to customers during vehicle delivery.
- Follow up with insurance companies for the timely settlement of outstanding claims and payments.
- Maintain high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores by resolving grievances related to accidental repairs.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience specifically within an authorized automotive dealership bodyshop.
- Thorough understanding of insurance claim procedures, IRDA norms, and cashless settlement processes.
- Hands-on experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) such as Autoline, SAP, or MSD.
- Technical knowledge of vehicle body structure, denting techniques, and paint shop processes.
- Strong negotiation skills to handle insurance surveyors and demanding customers.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license for moving and testing vehicles.
Preferred
- Experience working with premium or luxury automotive brands.
- Prior experience in handling paint mixing and color matching estimations.
- Existing relationships with local insurance surveyors and loss assessors.
