This role involves driving vehicle sales by engaging with potential buyers, conducting product demonstrations, and managing the end-to-end customer journey from enquiry to delivery. Manage walk-in customers and digital leads by providing detailed information about vehicle models, variants, and pricing.
Conduct professional test drives for prospective buyers while ensuring all safety protocols and OEM standards are followed.
Assist customers with finance options, insurance documentation, and vehicle registration processes to ensure a seamless purchase experience.
Maintain up-to-date records of all customer interactions, follow-ups, and bookings in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
Perform proactive outbound calling and follow-up activities to convert leads into confirmed vehicle bookings.
Participate in outdoor sales activities, including corporate displays, roadshows, and local marketing events to generate new enquiries.
Coordinate with the workshop and PDI team to ensure timely and error-free vehicle delivery to the customer.
Achieve monthly retail targets and contribute to the overall profitability of the dealership through value-added services like accessories and extended warranties.
Graduate degree in any discipline (B.A., B.Com, BBA, B.Sc).
Valid permanent four-wheeler driving license (mandatory for conducting test drives).
Fluency in the local language and a working knowledge of English.
Excellent interpersonal and persuasive communication skills.
Ability to work in a target-driven environment with a flexible approach to working hours.
Professional appearance and grooming standards as per automotive retail norms.
Prior experience or internship in retail sales or customer-facing roles.
Basic understanding of the Indian automotive market and competitor brands.
Familiarity with digital tools and social media for lead generation.
DMS (Dealer Management System) operations, Microsoft Office Basics, Basic Automotive Technical Knowledge, CRM Software usage

Education: Graduate/Bachelor's Degree in any stream
Experience: 0-1 years (Freshers are welcome)
Certifications: Valid Four-Wheeler Driving License
On-site showroom environment; 6 days a week; standard shift timings (typically 10 AM - 7 PM). Requires occasional field visits for home visits or corporate displays.
High-performing consultants can transition into Senior Sales Consultant roles, move into specialized departments like Corporate or Exchange Sales, or progress to Team Leader and Sales Manager positions within 3-5 years.
