This role involves spearheading the learning and development initiatives for both sales and service teams to ensure peak operational performance and adherence to OEM standards. It focuses on bridging skill gaps through structured technical workshops, product walkthroughs, and behavioral coaching to enhance the overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive product training for sales consultants on new vehicle launches, USPs, and competitor benchmarking.
- Deliver technical training modules for service advisors and technicians focusing on diagnostic tools, repair procedures, and EV safety protocols.
- Perform regular Training Need Identification (TNI) across departments to design customized learning interventions.
- Facilitate soft skills and process training to improve Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) scores.
- Manage the end-to-end OEM certification process for dealership staff to ensure 100% compliance with brand standards.
- Monitor post-training performance through on-the-job observations and provide constructive feedback to team leads.
- Maintain meticulous records of training attendance, assessment scores, and certification validity in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Collaborate with the OEM regional training team to implement national training calendars and curriculum updates.
Requirements
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the Indian automotive industry with at least 3 years in a dedicated training role.
- In-depth understanding of automotive aggregates, engine management systems, and modern vehicle electronics.
- Proven track record of delivering engaging presentations and hands-on technical demonstrations.
- Fluency in English and the local regional language to effectively communicate with diverse staff levels.
- Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel) for creating training modules and tracking metrics.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license and willingness to travel to different branch locations if required.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with a major OEM (Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, etc.) or a large multi-brand dealership group.
- Experience in implementing Digital Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Specialized knowledge in Electric Vehicle (EV) technology and high-voltage safety standards.

Certifications: OEM Certified Trainer, Train the Trainer (TTT) Certification, Advanced Diagnostic Certification
