This role involves overseeing the end-to-end insurance vertical within Area, focusing on maximizing policy renewals and new business revenue. It requires a strategic approach to managing insurance partner relationships while ensuring a seamless claim experience for automotive customers.
Manage the entire insurance lifecycle, including new vehicle policy issuance and timely renewals for the existing customer database.
Coordinate with multiple insurance partners to negotiate competitive premium rates and comprehensive coverage options for clients.
Oversee the claims process by facilitating effective communication between customers, surveyors, and the workshop service team.
Lead and mentor a team of insurance executives to meet and exceed monthly revenue and penetration targets.
Analyze periodic MIS reports to track renewal ratios, lost cases, and overall vertical profitability.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote value-added insurance products like Zero Depreciation and Return to Invoice covers.
Conduct regular training sessions for the sales team on insurance product knowledge and objection handling.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in insurance
Thorough understanding of motor insurance products, add-on covers, and claim settlement procedures.
Proven track record of meeting renewal targets and managing high-volume policy portfolios.
Excellent communication skills in English and the local regional language.
Proficiency in Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and advanced Microsoft Excel for reporting.
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills with insurance providers.
Valid IRDA certification (General Insurance).
Experience working with premium Insurance brands.
Background in handling cashless tie-ups and surveyor networking.

Education: Graduate in any stream (B.Com, BBA, or B.E. preferred); MBA in Finance or Marketing is an advantage.
Experience: 3 to 5 years in Indian Automotive Finance & Insurance (F&I) sector.
Certifications: IRDA Licensed Agent/Manager, OEM Insurance Training Certification
Standard on-site dealership environment with a 6-day work week (9:30 AM - 6:30 PM).
Successful candidates can progress to F&I Head, General Manager (Finance), or Regional Insurance Lead positions within the group's expanding network.
