This role involves high-precision bodywork repair and structural restoration to ensure vehicle safety and aesthetic integrity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing complex denting, panel beating, and body alignment tasks in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform intricate dent removal and body panel repair using manual and pneumatic tools
• Conduct chassis straightening and structural repairs to restore vehicle geometry to OEM specifications
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicle body parts including bumpers, doors, fenders, and trim
• Coordinate with the painting team to ensure smooth surface preparation and finish quality
• Identify and replace damaged structural components while adhering to manufacturer safety guidelines
• Maintain workshop tools and equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety compliance
• Update the Dealer Management System (DMS) regarding job status and parts requirements

Requirements

• Expertise in cold and heat denting techniques
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and body dimension charts
• Hands-on experience with gas and electric welding (MIG/MAG)
• Strong understanding of vehicle body structures and materials
• Proficiency in working with hydraulic frame machines
• Commitment to workshop safety protocols and usage of PPE

Preferred

• Prior experience in an authorized dealership workshop
• Knowledge of modern aluminum body repair techniques
• Exposure to high-end luxury vehicle body structures

Qualifications

Education: ITI in Mechanic Motor Vehicle (MMV) or equivalent trade

Experience: 5-8 years of professional experience as a Denter in an automotive workshop

Certifications: Trade certificate from NCVT/SCVT, OEM-specific body repair training certification (preferred)

Work Environment

On-site at a high-volume authorized service center. The role requires physical activity, including lifting, bending, and working in a standing position for extended periods, following strict safety and environmental standards.
