This role focuses on performing high-quality diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services on vehicles to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and safety. It involves working closely with service advisors and workshop managers to meet daily production targets while adhering to strict original equipment manufacturer (OEM) standards.
Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid top-ups as per the service manual.
Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and OBD scanners.
Execute major repairs involving engine overhauling, gearbox maintenance, and suspension system overhauls.
Maintain a clean and organized bay while ensuring all tools and equipment are handled with care and stored correctly.
Conduct thorough test drives to verify that all reported issues have been successfully resolved.
Document all work performed and parts used accurately in the dealership management system (DMS).
Adhere to all safety protocols and workshop discipline guidelines to prevent workplace accidents.
Collaborate with the spare parts department to ensure timely availability of components for ongoing repairs.
Minimum 2-5 years of hands-on experience in a multi-brand or authorized OEM workshop.
In-depth knowledge of internal combustion engines (ICE) and modern vehicle electronics.
Proficiency in using pneumatic tools, torque wrenches, and digital diagnostic equipment.
Valid four-wheeler driving license for conducting vehicle test drives.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
Strong physical stamina to handle the demands of a fast-paced workshop environment.
Prior experience working with premium or luxury automotive brands.
Basic understanding of Electric Vehicle (EV) components and high-voltage safety.
Previous certification from a recognized automotive OEM training program.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in a high-traffic workshop. Standard working hours are 6 days a week, typically from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with potential overtime during peak service periods.
Successful candidates can progress to Senior Technician, Team Lead, or Workshop Supervisor roles. Exceptional performers are often nominated for advanced OEM technical training and master technician certifications.
