This role involves driving vehicle sales by engaging with potential buyers and managing the end-to-end customer journey from inquiry to delivery. The focus is on providing expert product advice, conducting test drives, and ensuring a seamless purchase experience to meet monthly dealership targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet walk-in customers and understand their requirements to recommend suitable vehicle models and variants.
- Conduct professional product demonstrations and organize test drives to highlight vehicle features and performance.
- Generate and nurture leads through cold calling, field activities, and digital platforms to maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Assist customers with finance schemes, insurance options, and the completion of all RTO-related documentation.
- Coordinate with the workshop and stockyard teams to ensure the vehicle is ready for a timely and error-free delivery.
- Maintain meticulous records of all customer interactions and follow-ups in the Dealership Management System (DMS).
- Participate in outdoor sales promotional activities, including mall displays and corporate helpdesks.
- Build long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referral sales.
Requirements
- Graduate in any stream (B.A., B.Com, B.Sc., BBA) or 12th pass with relevant retail experience.
- Valid two-wheeler and/or four-wheeler driving license is mandatory.
- Fluency in the local regional language and a working knowledge of English.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse customer segments.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, target-oriented environment.
- Availability to work 6 days a week, including weekends and public holidays.
Preferred
- Previous experience in retail sales, hospitality, or customer service.
- Basic understanding of the Indian automotive market and current vehicle trends.
- Familiarity with digital tools and mobile applications for lead management.
