This leadership role focuses on driving high-volume sales performance and maintaining operational excellence within a prominent automotive dealership. The focus is on strategic market penetration, team mentorship, and ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction and brand compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual volume targets for the dealership.
- Manage and mentor a high-performance sales team, including Sales Managers and Consultants, ensuring continuous skill development and motivation.
- Coordinate with the OEM regional office for inventory planning, stock allocation, and implementation of national sales schemes.
- Analyze local market trends and competitor activities to design effective local marketing initiatives and promotional events.
- Monitor and optimize the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) through rigorous process monitoring.
- Oversee the end-to-end lead management process within the CRM/DMS to ensure high conversion ratios and zero lead leakage.
- Manage dealership inventory health, focusing on reducing aging stock and optimizing working capital.
- Collaborate with the F&I and Service departments to ensure a seamless 360-degree customer experience.
Requirements
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in automotive sales with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and CRM software operations.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the local regional language.
- Strong understanding of automotive finance, insurance (IRDA), and RTO processes.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license and willingness to travel for corporate meetings.
Preferred
- Experience working with Tier-1 or Premium automotive OEMs.
- Strong network within the local corporate and SME sectors for bulk sales.
- Certification in Sales Management or Leadership from a recognized institute.
- Background in managing multi-location or large-format showrooms.
