This role focuses on driving market penetration and increasing vehicle sales through proactive lead generation and direct customer engagement in the assigned territory. It involves identifying potential buyers, conducting product demonstrations, and managing the end-to-end sales process to meet organizational growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, field visits, and local networking within the assigned territory.
- Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and home test drives to provide prospective customers with a hands-on experience.
- Manage the complete sales funnel from initial lead generation to final delivery, ensuring a seamless customer journey.
- Coordinate with the finance and insurance teams to provide customers with tailored EMI schemes and documentation support.
- Organize and execute local marketing activities, including canopy setups, roadshows, and community displays to increase brand visibility.
- Maintain daily records of customer interactions, follow-ups, and lead statuses in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) established by the regional sales manager.
- Collect and report market intelligence regarding competitor pricing, schemes, and new product launches.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of proven experience in field sales, preferably within the automotive, FMCG, or consumer durable sectors.
- Must possess a valid permanent two-wheeler driving license and a personal vehicle for daily field operations.
- Fluency in the local regional language and a functional understanding of English for documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a target-driven environment with a high level of self-motivation.
- Strong geographic knowledge of the assigned local territory and surrounding areas.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, to accommodate customer availability.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with an authorized OEM dealership or automotive retail outlet.
- Working knowledge of retail finance, loan documentation, and insurance processes.
- Existing network of local influencers or commercial vehicle operators in the region.

Work Environment
Field-intensive role requiring 80% travel within the local city or district. Standard 6-day work week (usually 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM) with site visits to customer residences or workplaces.
