This role involves driving vehicle sales by identifying potential leads and managing the end-to-end customer journey from initial inquiry to final delivery. The focus is on achieving monthly volume targets while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and maintaining brand standards within the dealership showroom and field operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage walk-in customers and provide detailed product demonstrations, highlighting key features and USPs of the vehicle lineup.
- Conduct field visits and corporate presentations to generate new leads and expand the customer database.
- Execute test drives for prospective buyers while strictly adhering to safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Coordinate with the Finance and Insurance department to facilitate loan processing and insurance renewals for customers.
- Maintain accurate records in the Dealer Management System (DMS) and ensure timely follow-ups on all open inquiries.
- Manage the vehicle delivery process, ensuring a premium 'handover' experience and explaining warranty and service schedules.
- Collect and report market intelligence regarding competitor activities, pricing, and promotional schemes.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as defined by the dealership management.
Requirements
- Graduate in any stream from a recognized university.
- 1-3 years of experience in retail sales, preferably within the automotive or white goods industry.
- Must possess a valid permanent four-wheeler driving license.
- Fluency in the local language and a working knowledge of English.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Willingness to travel locally for field marketing and customer visits.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with an authorized automobile OEM dealership.
- Familiarity with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) like SAP or MS Dynamics.
- Knowledge of automotive finance and insurance processes.
