This leadership role involves driving the strategic HR agenda to support business growth and operational excellence across multiple dealership locations and service centers. The focus is on building a high-performance culture while ensuring seamless compliance with labor regulations and OEM-specific standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business objectives of the automotive group.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment for high-volume roles in Sales, Service, and Technical departments across multiple branches.
- Lead the Performance Management System (PMS), ensuring objective KRA setting and transparent appraisal cycles for all staff levels.
- Ensure 100% compliance with Indian Labor Laws, including PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, and Factory Act regulations.
- Design and execute training programs in coordination with OEM requirements to enhance technical and behavioral competencies.
- Manage employee relations and grievance redressal to maintain a harmonious work environment and reduce attrition.
- Supervise payroll administration, budget planning, and HR analytics to provide data-driven insights to the management.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive organizational culture and improve employee Net Promoter Scores (eNPS).
Requirements
- Extensive experience in managing HR operations for a large-scale automotive dealership or manufacturing setup.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian statutory compliance and labor litigation matters.
- Proven track record of handling a workforce of 500+ employees across diverse locations.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders.
- Experience in implementing or managing HRMS/ERP systems for automated HR workflows.
- Strong understanding of the automotive industry's cyclical nature and its impact on workforce planning.
Preferred
- Previous experience working with premium or luxury automotive brands.
- Certification in HR Analytics or Strategic Management from a premier institute.
- Fluency in the local regional language along with English and Hindi.

Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site role based at the corporate office, requiring occasional travel to various dealership outlets and service centers. The standard work week is 6 days, following the automotive industry calendar.
