Civil Engineer

This position is responsible for ensuring that all construction activities and infrastructure development projects align with stringent safety and quality standards. You will work closely with the site team to monitor materials, oversee testing protocols, and maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with structural drawings and technical specifications.
• Monitor the quality of raw materials, including concrete, steel, and aggregates, through laboratory and field testing.
• Maintain daily inspection reports and ensure all quality checklists are updated in the project management system.
• Identify and document non-conformance issues and coordinate with site supervisors for timely corrective actions.
• Ensure all construction activities adhere to local safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of quality audit reports for management review.
• Coordinate with external testing agencies for specialized material evaluations as needed.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of construction materials and structural testing methods.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, structural drawings, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications like MS Office for report generation.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying structural defects.
• Valid two-wheeler license for site visits as required.

Preferred

• Internship experience with a reputed construction or infrastructure firm.
• Familiarity with IS (Indian Standard) codes for construction materials.
• Basic knowledge of project management software like AutoCAD or MS Project.

Qualifications

Education: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Experience: 0-1 years (Freshers are encouraged to apply)

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site role based at project locations. The work schedule is 6 days per week with standard business hours, requiring a balance of office-based documentation and field-based inspection work.
