This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of two-wheeler models to ensure they meet manufacturer safety and performance standards. It requires a dedicated focus on technical precision and adherence to workshop protocols to deliver high-quality service to every customer.
Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, and brake adjustments according to OEM schedules.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using specialized diagnostic tools and manual inspection techniques.
Execute engine overhauling, transmission repairs, and suspension tuning for various motorcycle and scooter models.
Conduct thorough Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and post-service test rides to verify repair quality.
Maintain an organized bay and ensure all workshop tools and equipment are handled with care and safety.
Update service records and parts consumption details accurately in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
Collaborate with the Service Advisor to explain technical issues and recommended repairs for customer clarity.
Adhere to all environmental and safety regulations regarding the disposal of hazardous materials like engine oil and batteries.
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in a professional two-wheeler workshop or authorized service center.
Thorough understanding of internal combustion engines, fuel systems, and electrical components.
Proficiency in using pneumatic tools, torque wrenches, and digital multimeters.
Valid two-wheeler driving license to perform mandatory test rides.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and stand for long durations.
Basic understanding of BS-VI technology and fuel injection systems.
Prior experience working with major Indian OEMs such as Hero, Honda, TVS, or Bajaj.
Familiarity with Electric Vehicle (EV) powertrain components and battery management systems.
Knowledge of local language to communicate effectively with the workshop team.

Standard authorized workshop setting with a 6-day work week (9 AM - 6 PM). High-activity environment requiring strict adherence to safety gear and workshop uniforms.
High-performing mechanics are eligible for promotion to Senior Technician or Diagnostic Specialist roles. Opportunities also exist to transition into Service Advisor or Workshop Supervisor positions based on performance and soft-skill development.
