This role involves acting as a bridge between technical automotive innovation and the customer experience, ensuring every visitor receives a deep, immersive understanding of vehicle features. The focus is on elevating the brand's value proposition through expert demonstrations and data-driven comparisons that drive purchase decisions. By maintaining high standards of product knowledge across the sales floor, this position ensures the dealership remains a hub of technical excellence and customer trust.
Conduct comprehensive static and dynamic product demonstrations for premium vehicle segments, highlighting USPs and advanced safety features.
Stay updated on competitor products and market trends to provide effective 'why-buy' comparisons to prospective customers.
Lead the training and certification of the Sales Consultant team on new model launches and mid-life cycle refreshes.
Manage the test drive vehicle fleet, ensuring all units are in showroom condition and tech features (ADAS, Infotainment) are fully functional.
Assist customers during the 'discovery' phase of the sales process to resolve complex technical queries regarding engine performance, transmission, and electronics.
Collaborate with the marketing team to organize and represent the brand at off-site displays, corporate events, and mall activations.
Utilize the Dealer Management System (DMS) to track customer feedback on specific features to help the OEM improve future product iterations.
Maintain a detailed log of test drive feedback and conversion metrics to optimize the customer experience journey.
3 to 5 years of experience in automotive retail, preferably with premium or luxury brands.
A valid Indian four-wheeler driving license with a clean driving record.
In-depth knowledge of modern automotive technologies including ADAS, Connected Car Tech, and EV powertrains.
Excellent command over the local language and English for professional communication.
Proven ability to explain complex technical specifications in simple, consumer-friendly terms.
Availability to work 6 days a week, including weekends and public holidays, as per showroom standards.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) for reporting and training purposes.
Prior experience working with an OEM-authorized dealership network.
Certification in advanced driving or technical product training from a recognized automotive body.
Experience in handling high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) and corporate clients.

Consultative Selling, Public Speaking, Active Listening, Interpersonal Influence, Patience and Empathy
Education: Graduate in any stream; B.E./Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering is highly preferred.
Experience: 3-5 years in Sales or Product Specialist roles within the Indian Automotive Industry.
Certifications: OEM Product Specialist Certification (if any), Soft Skills Training Certificate, Technical Workshop Certification
Professional showroom environment with on-road test drive duties. Expect a 6-day work week with standard shift timings (typically 10 AM to 7 PM). The role involves significant standing and interaction with the public.
Successful candidates can progress to Team Lead (Product), Regional Trainer, or move into Senior Sales Management and OEM-level product planning roles.
