This role focuses on driving vehicle sales by engaging with walk-in customers and managing digital leads to meet monthly dealership targets. It involves guiding potential buyers through the entire purchase journey, from initial inquiry and product demonstration to final delivery and post-sales relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet walk-in customers and handle inquiries regarding vehicle models, features, and pricing specifications.
- Conduct professional test drives while explaining technical features and safety standards to prospective buyers.
- Generate new leads through cold calling, local field activities, and digital platforms to maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Manage the end-to-end documentation process, including booking forms, finance applications, and insurance coordination.
- Coordinate with the stockyard and PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) team to ensure timely and error-free vehicle delivery.
- Maintain updated records in the Dealer Management System (DMS) and follow up with prospects regularly.
- Achieve high scores in Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) by providing exceptional service throughout the buying process.
- Assist in showroom branding activities and outdoor promotional events to increase brand visibility.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (B.A., B.Com, B.Sc., BBA).
- Valid Indian four-wheeler driving license is mandatory for conducting test drives.
- Fluency in the local regional language and functional knowledge of English.
- Willingness to work in a high-pressure, target-oriented sales environment.
- Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills to handle diverse customer profiles.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and lead management.
Preferred
- Prior internship or short-term experience in retail or direct sales.
- Familiarity with automotive trends and basic mechanical knowledge of cars.
- Ability to speak multiple languages (e.g., Hindi, English, and local dialect).

Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site role based at the dealership showroom. Standard working hours are 6 days a week, typically from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, including weekends, with a rotational week-off.
Growth Opportunities
Successful consultants can progress to Senior Sales Consultant roles within 2 years, with further advancement opportunities to Team Leader or Assistant Sales Manager positions within the dealership network.
