Responsible for managing all financial transactions at the dealership, ensuring accurate collection of payments from customers for vehicle sales and service. This role maintains the integrity of daily cash flows while providing a seamless billing experience to every visitor.
Key Responsibilities
- Process all incoming cash, cheque, and digital payments from customers for vehicle bookings, service, and spare parts.
- Issue official receipts and invoices promptly through the dealership's Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Maintain an accurate daily cash book and reconcile physical cash with system balances before closing.
- Manage the petty cash fund for minor workshop and office expenses, ensuring all vouchers are properly authorized.
- Prepare daily collection reports and deposit cash/cheques in the bank as per company policy.
- Assist the accounts team in periodic audits and month-end closing activities.
- Verify the authenticity of currency notes and ensure safe custody of all valuables in the cash cabin.
Requirements
- Minimum 12th pass or Graduate degree in any stream.
- Strong basic mathematical and numerical ability.
- High level of integrity and honesty in handling financial assets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high footfall.
- Proficiency in the local language and basic English.
- Basic knowledge of computer operations and keyboard typing.
Preferred
- B.Com degree from a recognized university.
- Prior experience in a retail or automotive dealership environment.
- Familiarity with Tally ERP or any Dealer Management System (DMS).
