Job Description

Join our dynamic workshop team to maintain and repair high-quality vehicles while ensuring top-tier service standards for our customers. This role focuses on diagnostic accuracy, efficient repairs, and strict adherence to OEM guidelines to ensure vehicle safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform periodic maintenance, general repairs, and major overhauls as per manufacturer service manuals.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle issues.
  • Document all work performed in the Dealer Management System (DMS) accurately and in real-time.
  • Maintain the workshop bay in a clean, organized, and safe condition at all times.
  • Collaborate with Service Advisors to explain technical issues to customers clearly when required.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed, particularly when handling high-voltage systems or hazardous materials.
  • Participate in regular technical training sessions provided by the OEM to stay updated on new vehicle technology.

Requirements

  • ITI or Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proven hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
  • In-depth knowledge of engine management, transmission, and suspension systems.
  • Ability to interpret technical schematics and service manuals.
  • Valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving license.
  • Basic proficiency in using diagnostic scanners and workshop software.

Preferred

  • Prior experience working at an authorized car dealership.
  • Certification in EV maintenance and high-voltage safety.
  • Ability to communicate in local language and basic English.

Technical

Automotive Diagnostics, Engine Overhauling, Brake and Suspension Repair, Electrical Circuit Troubleshooting, DMS Operation, Tool Calibration

Qualifications

Education: ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 1-5 years of experience in an automotive workshop environment

Certifications: OEM specific product training certification, Safety and First Aid training (preferred)

Work Environment

Full-time on-site position in a professional workshop environment. Standard 6-day work week with rotational shifts as per service operations.
