Job Description
This role involves diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing four-wheeler vehicles to ensure peak performance and passenger safety in a high-volume service environment. It focuses on delivering high-quality mechanical work while adhering to strict manufacturer standards and workshop timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive periodic maintenance services (PMS) including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid top-ups.
Execute complex mechanical repairs involving clutch overhauls, brake system servicing, and suspension tuning.
Conduct detailed engine diagnostics and major engine work, including head-gasket replacements and timing adjustments.
Utilize computerized diagnostic tools and scanners to identify electronic and mechanical faults accurately.
Ensure all repair orders are completed within the stipulated standard operating time (SOT) to maintain workshop productivity.
Document all repairs and parts used in the Dealer Management System (DMS) for accurate billing and vehicle history.
Perform road tests to verify the quality of repairs and ensure the vehicle is roadworthy before customer delivery.
Maintain a clean and organized work bay while following all safety protocols and environmental norms for waste disposal.
Requirements
Extensive hands-on experience in 4-wheeler mechanical repairs and general servicing.
In-depth knowledge of engine components, transmission systems, and braking mechanisms.
Proficiency in using pneumatic tools, hydraulic lifts, and precision measuring instruments.
Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues independently.
Valid four-wheeler driving license for conducting vehicle test drives.
Willingness to work in a 6-day work week schedule.
Preferred
Previous experience working with a reputed OEM authorized service center.
Familiarity with multi-brand diagnostic scanners like Launch or Autel.
Basic understanding of wheel alignment and balancing procedures.

Certifications: OEM Technical Certification (Level 1 or 2), ASDC (Automotive Skills Development Council) Certification is a plus
Work Environment
Standard workshop environment requiring physical stamina and adherence to safety gear (PPE). On-site role with 6-day work weeks, typically 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Growth Opportunities
Candidates can progress to Senior Technician, Master Technician, or Service Advisor roles through internal performance reviews and OEM-certified training programs.
