This role involves managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle within a fast-paced automotive environment, ensuring the dealership is staffed with skilled talent across sales and service departments. The focus lies on balancing administrative excellence in payroll with proactive engagement and training initiatives to enhance workforce productivity and OEM compliance.
Manage the full recruitment cycle for sales, service, and technical roles, including sourcing candidates through job portals, social media, and local networks.
Oversee daily attendance tracking and process monthly payroll including incentives, overtime, and statutory deductions like EPF, ESI, and Professional Tax.
Coordinate and deliver induction training for new joiners and schedule OEM-mandated product and process training for the technical and sales staff.
Maintain up-to-date employee records in the Dealer Management System (DMS) and physical personnel files to ensure 100% audit readiness.
Handle employee grievances promptly and implement monthly engagement activities to maintain a positive work culture on the shop floor and showroom.
Assist the HR Manager in the annual performance appraisal process and track KRA achievements for all departments.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and display of necessary statutory abstracts at the dealership premises.
Foundational understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, Gratuity).
Proficiency in MS Excel for payroll calculations, pivot tables, and HR reporting.
Fluency in the local language and English to communicate effectively with both technicians and management.
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail for documentation and filing.
Ability to work in a high-pressure retail environment with a 6-day work week.
Familiarity with automotive dealership operations or the retail sector.
Hands-on experience with payroll software or HRMS tools.
Experience in volume hiring for blue-collar or frontline sales roles.

This is a full-time, on-site role based at the dealership. The standard work week is 6 days, typically from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, requiring coordination between the showroom and the workshop.
Successful candidates can progress to Senior HR Executive or Assistant HR Manager roles within the group's network. There are also opportunities to move into specialized OEM training or Regional HR roles.
