This role focuses on driving vehicle sales by engaging with potential customers and guiding them through the entire purchasing journey. It involves proactive lead generation, conducting product demonstrations, and ensuring a seamless delivery experience to build long-term brand loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively generate leads through cold calling, field visits, and digital inquiries to maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Conduct detailed product demonstrations and vehicle walkarounds to highlight features, benefits, and USPs.
- Organize and accompany customers on test drives while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and dealership guidelines.
- Assist customers with financing options, insurance selection, and documentation required for vehicle registration.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for vehicle units, accessories, and value-added services.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow-ups in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Coordinate with the stockyard and PDI team to ensure timely and error-free vehicle delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in retail sales, preferably within the automotive or consumer durable industry.
- Valid two-wheeler and four-wheeler driving license (mandatory for conducting test drives).
- Proficiency in the local language and a working knowledge of English.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with a result-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable with field visits and outdoor sales activities as per business requirements.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry into CRM and DMS platforms.
Preferred
- Previous experience working with an authorized OEM dealership.
- Familiarity with automotive finance and insurance processes.
- Knowledge of local geography and market trends in the automotive sector.
