Service Advisor & Bodyshop Advisor

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Interaction

  • Greet customers and listen to their concerns about vehicles/equipment

  • Ask questions to accurately identify issues

  • Provide professional advice on required services

• Service Coordination

  • Create and manage job cards/work orders

  • Schedule service appointments

  • Assign tasks to technicians and monitor progress

• Estimation & Billing

  • Provide cost estimates for repairs and services

  • Explain charges and get customer approval

  • Prepare invoices and handle payments

• Communication

  • Update customers on service status and delays

  • Explain completed work and preventive maintenance tips

  • Handle complaints and resolve customer issues

• Documentation

  • Maintain service records and history

  • Ensure all paperwork is accurate and complete

• Upselling

  • Recommend additional services or products when appropriate

  • Promote service packages or maintenance plans
