This role involves driving profitability by managing finance and insurance (F&I) operations at the dealership level. The focus is on optimizing revenue through high penetration of value-added services and maintaining strong relationships with banking partners and insurance providers to ensure seamless customer delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and drive the dealership's finance and insurance penetration targets for all new vehicle sales.
- Coordinate with multiple banks, NBFCs, and captive finance units to secure competitive loan approvals for customers.
- Oversee the end-to-end documentation process for vehicle financing and insurance issuance to ensure zero-error compliance.
- Monitor and improve the conversion rate of value-added services (VAS) including extended warranty and accessories.
- Conduct regular training sessions for the sales team on financial products and insurance USPs.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring a transparent and quick loan disbursement process.
- Liaise with the accounts department for timely payout reconciliation from financial institutions and insurance companies.
- Generate daily and monthly reports on F&I performance, penetration ratios, and commission earnings for the senior management.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in automotive F&I, retail banking, or insurance sales.
- In-depth understanding of retail finance documentation and RTO processes in India.
- Proven ability to negotiate with financial institutions for customer loan approvals.
- Excellent command over the local language and English for effective customer interaction.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel for data tracking and reporting.
- Valid IRDA certification or willingness to obtain one within the probation period.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with a reputed OEM dealership (Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, etc.).
- MBA in Marketing or Finance from a recognized university.
- Existing relationships with local bank representatives and DSA networks.

Education: Graduate in any stream (B.Com, BBA, or BCA preferred)

Work Environment
Standard dealership showroom environment with a 6-day work week. Requires frequent interaction with walk-in customers and bank officials.
