This role focuses on driving the adoption of electric mobility by guiding customers through the technical and financial benefits of switching to green energy. It involves managing the complete sales lifecycle while educating the market on charging ecosystems and government incentives available for electric vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end sales processes for electric vehicles, from initial lead generation to final vehicle delivery.
- Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations and test drives, specifically highlighting EV features such as regenerative braking, range performance, and silent drive.
- Educate customers on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), battery life cycles, home charging installations, and public charging infrastructure.
- Guide customers through government subsidies (FAME-II/State-specific policies), green plate registration, and specialized EV financing options.
- Maintain high levels of data integrity by updating lead status and customer interactions daily in the Dealer Management System (DMS) and CRM.
- Coordinate with the workshop and logistics teams for Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) to ensure a flawless vehicle handover experience.
- Analyze competitor EV offerings and market trends to effectively handle customer objections and position the brand's USP.
- Participate in local community events, malls, and corporate displays to generate high-quality leads for the EV segment.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in retail sales, preferably within the automotive or high-value consumer durables sector.
- A valid four-wheeler driving license is mandatory for conducting customer test drives.
- Excellent communication skills in the local language and English to effectively explain complex EV technology.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets in a target-driven environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office (Excel/Word) for reporting and lead management.
- Ability to work a standard 6-day work week including weekends.
Preferred
- Prior experience in selling Electric Vehicles (EVs) or premium automobiles.
- In-depth understanding of Indian EV policies, including FAME-II and state-level tax exemptions.
- OEM-certified sales training or previous experience with an authorized automobile dealership.

Work Environment
