This role involves executing high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair tasks to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety. It focuses on diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues while adhering to strict original equipment manufacturer (OEM) standards within a fast-paced workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine periodic maintenance services (PMS) and general repairs as per the job card instructions.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using manufacturer-specific diagnostic tools and scanners.
- Execute repairs on braking systems, suspension, engines, and transmissions with high precision.
- Maintain a clean and organized bay area while strictly following workshop safety and environmental protocols.
- Document all technical observations, parts used, and labor hours accurately in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Conduct final inspections and short test drives to verify the quality of repairs and ensure zero repeat complaints.
- Collaborate with the Service Advisor and Workshop Manager to provide accurate timelines for complex repairs.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years of hands-on experience in an authorized automobile service center.
- Thorough understanding of BS-VI engine technology and automotive electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using pneumatic tools, torque wrenches, and diagnostic computers.
- Ability to read and interpret technical service bulletins and wiring diagrams.
- Valid driving license for two-wheelers and four-wheelers.
- Physical stamina to work in a workshop environment for full shifts.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with major Indian OEMs like Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, or Hyundai.
- Basic knowledge of Electric Vehicle (EV) high-voltage safety and components.
- Experience in wheel alignment and balancing operations.

Work Environment
On-site workshop location with a standard 6-day work week (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM). Includes exposure to oils, lubricants, and noise-controlled industrial settings.
