This role focuses on driving high-performance sales teams within a fast-paced automotive dealership environment to achieve volume and revenue targets. It involves mentoring sales consultants, managing lead pipelines, and ensuring a premium customer experience throughout the vehicle purchase journey.
Monitor and drive daily sales targets for a team of 5-8 Sales Consultants to ensure monthly volume achievement.
Review and track lead follow-ups in the Dealer Management System (DMS) to improve conversion ratios from enquiry to booking.
Supervise the test drive process, ensuring all safety protocols and documentation are strictly followed by the team.
Conduct daily morning huddles to align the team on targets, promotional schemes, and stock availability.
Handle escalated customer queries and assist team members in closing complex deals or corporate sales.
Analyze lost cases and implement strategies to recover potential customers from competitors.
Ensure compliance with OEM standards for showroom hygiene, customer interaction, and documentation.
Coordinate with the finance and insurance (F&I) department to streamline the vehicle delivery process.
Proven track record in automotive sales with at least 3 years of experience.
Strong understanding of the local automotive market and competitor landscape.
Valid four-wheeler driving license is mandatory.
Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint).
Excellent communication skills in the local language and English.
Ability to work in a high-pressure, target-driven environment.
Experience working with a Tier-1 or Tier-2 OEM dealership.
Prior experience in leading a small team or acting as a senior sales consultant.
Knowledge of retail finance and insurance processes in India.
Local residency with strong networking in the specified region.
