This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex electrical and electronic systems in modern vehicles to ensure peak performance and safety. It involves working with cutting-edge diagnostic tools and OEM-specific software to resolve issues ranging from basic wiring to advanced engine management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose electrical malfunctions using OEM-specific diagnostic scanners, OBD-II tools, and digital multi-meters.
- Repair and replace faulty components including alternators, starter motors, ignition systems, and fuel injection sensors.
- Troubleshoot and service automotive Air Conditioning (AC) systems, including gas recharging and leak detection.
- Install and configure vehicle accessories such as GPS trackers, infotainment systems, and reverse cameras.
- Interpret complex electrical circuit diagrams and technical manuals to identify root causes of systemic failures.
- Perform battery health assessments, charging, and maintenance procedures following safety protocols.
- Maintain precise documentation of all repairs and parts used within the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Collaborate with the mechanical team to ensure integrated vehicle systems function harmoniously post-repair.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Auto Electrician in a high-volume workshop or authorized dealership.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive electrical systems, including lighting, starting, and charging circuits.
- Proficiency in operating computerized diagnostic equipment and interpreting error codes.
- Ability to read and execute repairs based on technical wiring schematics.
- Strong understanding of BS-VI electrical components and sensor logic.
- Familiarity with automotive AC system components and repair techniques.
Preferred
- Certification in Electric Vehicle (EV) high-voltage safety and battery management.
- Previous experience working with premium or luxury automotive brands.
- Basic knowledge of CAN-bus and LIN-bus communication protocols.

Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site role within a fast-paced authorized workshop environment. The standard work week is 6 days, and the role requires physical stamina for hands-on technical tasks.
