Job Description

This role involves managing the end-to-end accident repair process for customers, ensuring high-quality bodywork and timely vehicle delivery. You will serve as the primary bridge between the customer, the insurance surveyor, and the workshop technical team to ensure a seamless repair experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive accident vehicles, perform detailed damage assessments, and create accurate repair estimates using DMS software.
  • Coordinate with insurance surveyors for timely approval of claims and documentation.
  • Communicate repair status, cost estimates, and expected delivery timelines to customers consistently.
  • Ensure all body shop repairs comply with OEM safety and quality standards.
  • Monitor the progress of vehicles in the workshop and manage bottlenecks to ensure adherence to promised delivery dates.
  • Perform final quality checks on repaired vehicles before handing them over to the customer.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction (CSAT) and resolve any concerns regarding repair quality or billing.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Bodyshop Advisor or Service Advisor in an authorized automobile dealership.
  • In-depth knowledge of motor insurance claim procedures and documentation requirements.
  • Proficiency in DMS (Dealer Management Systems) and basic computer skills for estimation.
  • Strong command of local language and English for effective customer communication.
  • Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations and angry/distressed customers effectively.
  • Valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving license.

Preferred

  • Experience with specific OEM accident repair workflows and warranty processes.
  • Hands-on experience with body shop estimation software like Audatex or similar tools.
  • Strong networking with local insurance surveyors and TPA representatives.

Qualifications

Education: Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering or ITI in Auto Body Repair/Painting.

Experience: 3-5 years in an authorized automotive workshop.

Certifications: OEM-specific advisor certification, Valid Driving License

Work Environment

On-site at an authorized dealership workshop. Standard working hours are 6 days a week, 9 AM to 6 PM, with professional grooming standards required.
