Job Description

Act as the primary point of contact for customers requiring collision repairs, bridge the gap between technical teams and vehicle owners, and ensure seamless insurance claim processing. You will be responsible for providing accurate repair estimates, coordinating with the workshop floor, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the vehicle restoration process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and conduct detailed vehicle inspections to identify body and paint repair requirements.
  • Prepare accurate repair estimates using OEM-approved software and DMS systems.
  • Coordinate with insurance surveyors for claim approval and ensure all documentation is complete for cashless or reimbursement processing.
  • Communicate repair timelines and progress updates to customers consistently until vehicle delivery.
  • Liaise with the technical team to ensure repairs meet OEM quality standards and safety protocols.
  • Manage the end-to-end flow of vehicle entry, repair stage tracking, and final quality check before delivery.
  • Handle customer concerns regarding repair quality or billing issues with a solution-oriented approach.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in an automotive bodyshop or service center environment.
  • Proficiency in DMS (Dealer Management System) and basic computer literacy (MS Office).
  • Strong understanding of insurance claim procedures and documentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced workshop environment with a 6-day work week.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and the local language.
  • Valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving license.

Preferred

  • Prior experience with body and paint shop operations of a major automotive OEM.
  • Hands-on experience with estimating software like Audatex or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of vehicle accident repair processes and parts procurement.

Qualifications

Education: Diploma in Automobile Engineering or ITI in Mechanic Motor Vehicle (MMV).

Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in a dealership bodyshop.

Certifications: OEM-specific service/bodyshop advisor certification is an added advantage.

Work Environment

On-site at an authorized dealership workshop; requires standing for extended periods and interacting with customers and technical staff in the shop floor environment.

Growth Opportunities

Pathways exist to transition into roles such as Bodyshop Manager, Service Manager, or Insurance Coordinator within the dealership network.
