This role acts as the vital link between customers, insurance providers, and the technical team to ensure seamless accident repair services. The focus is on providing empathetic support to vehicle owners while managing the end-to-end insurance claim process and workshop workflow to restore vehicles to OEM standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting detailed initial damage assessments and providing accurate repair estimates to customers.
- Liaising with insurance surveyors to facilitate vehicle inspections and expedite claim approvals.
- Managing all insurance-related documentation, including cashless and reimbursement paperwork, ensuring compliance with IRDA guidelines.
- Providing regular updates to customers regarding the status of their vehicle repairs and expected delivery timelines.
- Coordinating with the bodyshop floor supervisor to prioritize jobs and ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Explaining the final invoice and repair details to customers during the vehicle handover process.
- Ensuring the achievement of monthly bodyshop revenue targets and customer satisfaction scores.
- Maintaining meticulous records in the Dealer Management System (DMS) for all accident repair cases.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience specifically in an automotive bodyshop or accident repair department.
- In-depth knowledge of insurance claim procedures and surveyor coordination.
- Proficiency in using Dealer Management Systems (DMS) like Autoline, SAP, or MS Office.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the local language to handle diverse customer interactions.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license to move vehicles within the workshop premises.
- Strong understanding of spare parts pricing and labor cost estimation for bodywork.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with premium or luxury automotive brands.
- Basic understanding of IRDA regulations and insurance policy types (Zero Dep, Comprehensive, etc.).
- Certification from an OEM for Bodyshop Advisor training.

Work Environment
This is an on-site role based in a high-activity workshop environment. Standard working hours are 6 days a week, typically from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, involving significant interaction with both the technical floor and the customer lounge.
