Body Shop Advisor

Position Overview

The Body Shop Advisor is responsible for handling customer vehicles requiring accident repairs, denting, painting, and insurance-related work. The role involves inspecting vehicle damage, preparing repair estimates, coordinating with insurance surveyors, ensuring timely repairs, and delivering an excellent customer experience throughout the repair process.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect accident-damaged vehicles.

• Explain repair procedures, estimated costs, and delivery timelines to customers.

• Prepare repair estimates and job cards.

• Coordinate with insurance companies and surveyors for claim approvals and processing.

• Follow up with workshop technicians and the body shop team to ensure timely completion of repairs.

• Provide regular updates to customers regarding repair progress.

• Conduct a final vehicle inspection before delivery.

• Ensure timely delivery of repaired vehicles.

• Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally.

• Maintain accurate documentation related to repairs, insurance claims, and customer records.

• Achieve customer satisfaction and body shop revenue targets.

Eligibility Criteria

• Graduate or Diploma in Automobile Engineering or any relevant discipline.

• 2–5 years of experience as a Body Shop Advisor, Service Advisor, or in a similar role within the automobile industry.

• Good knowledge of denting, painting, accident repair procedures, and insurance claim processes.

• Familiarity with Dealership Management Systems (DMS) and MS Office.

• Strong communication and customer handling skills.
