Job Description

This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end accident repair process, serving as the primary point of contact for customers and insurance companies. The position focuses on ensuring high-quality body shop throughput, accurate estimation, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the vehicle repair cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed vehicle inspections to identify damage and document repair requirements for insurance claims.
  • Prepare accurate repair estimates using OEM-approved software and ensure timely approval from insurance surveyors.
  • Coordinate with the insurance department to facilitate cashless claims and maintain necessary documentation for claim settlement.
  • Communicate repair status, costs, and expected delivery timelines clearly to customers to manage expectations.
  • Liaise with the technical team to ensure repairs meet safety and OEM quality standards.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction (CSI) by resolving concerns and providing proactive updates.
  • Manage workshop floor workflow to ensure vehicles are repaired within the committed turnaround time.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and cleanliness standards within the body shop area.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in an automotive body shop or service center environment.
  • Proficiency in DMS (Dealer Management System) and estimation software.
  • Thorough understanding of motor insurance claim processes and documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical repair manuals and parts catalogs.
  • Strong verbal communication skills in English and the local regional language.
  • Must possess a valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving license.

Preferred

  • Prior experience working with premium or mass-market automotive brands.
  • Hands-on experience with insurance portal management (e.g., IIB, surveyor coordination).
  • Knowledge of paint booth operations and accidental repair workflow.

Work Environment

On-site at an authorized dealership body shop; involves active floor time and interaction with customers and insurance surveyors. Standard 6-day work week with rotational shifts.
