This role focuses on streamlining day-to-day service operations while ensuring high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair standards. It involves bridging the gap between technical teams and customer service to drive operational excellence and achieve monthly service targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise floor activities to ensure optimal vehicle flow and meet daily delivery targets.
- Monitor and improve technician productivity and efficiency through regular performance reviews.
- Ensure strict adherence to OEM service standards, safety protocols, and quality guidelines.
- Handle complex customer escalations regarding vehicle repairs and service quality to ensure resolution.
- Collaborate with the parts department to ensure availability of critical spares and minimize vehicle downtime.
- Conduct regular training sessions for technicians on new vehicle models and advanced diagnostic tools.
- Analyze workshop KPIs including labor revenue, parts sales, and customer satisfaction scores for weekly reporting.
- Manage the workshop infrastructure and equipment maintenance to ensure zero operational interruptions.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in an authorized automotive service center environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of internal combustion engines and modern vehicle electronics.
- Hands-on experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) such as Autoline, SAP, or similar.
- Proven track record of managing a team of at least 15-20 technicians and support staff.
- Excellent understanding of workshop safety, waste management, and environmental regulations.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with strict turnaround time (TAT) deadlines.
Preferred
- Experience working with premium or luxury automotive brands in the Indian market.
- Certification in Electric Vehicle (EV) maintenance and high-voltage safety systems.
- Proficiency in the local language of the region along with English and Hindi.
- Prior experience in implementing 5S or Lean principles in a workshop setting.

Qualifications
Education: B.E./B.Tech in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering; Diploma holders with significant experience will be considered.
Experience: 5 to 8 years in automotive workshop operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Certifications: OEM Technical Certification, Six Sigma (Green Belt) preferred, Valid Four-Wheeler Driving License
