This role is responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services for corporate staff and high-profile clients while ensuring the pristine condition of company-owned vehicles. It requires a high degree of punctuality, professional conduct, and a deep understanding of local traffic regulations to maintain seamless administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport company personnel, clients, and visitors to designated locations within and outside city limits.
- Perform daily pre-trip vehicle inspections, including checking oil levels, tire pressure, and fluid levels to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain a detailed and accurate logbook of all trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and scheduled service dates.
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and sanitized at all times, both internally and externally, adhering to company standards.
- Coordinate periodic maintenance and servicing with authorized service centers to minimize vehicle downtime.
- Adhere strictly to all RTO regulations, traffic laws, and safety protocols to ensure passenger safety and avoid penalties.
- Assist with administrative support tasks such as document delivery, picking up supplies, or coordinating vehicle registrations.
- Report any accidents, breakdowns, or damage to the vehicle immediately to the Administration Department.
Requirements
- Possession of a valid Indian Driving License (LMV/HMV) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional driving experience in a corporate or commercial environment.
- Thorough knowledge of local routes, landmarks, and the ability to use GPS navigation systems efficiently.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early morning shifts or late-evening duties as per business needs.
- Excellent physical fitness and eyesight required for long-distance or night driving.
- Clean background verification with no history of major traffic violations or criminal records.
Preferred
- Previous experience working with premium car dealerships or corporate fleet management companies.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to identify and handle minor roadside repairs or troubleshooting.
- Certification in defensive driving or road safety from a recognized institute.
