Acts as the primary bridge between vehicle owners and the technical workshop team to ensure a seamless service experience. This role focuses on translating customer concerns into technical instructions while managing expectations regarding costs, repair quality, and delivery timelines.
Greet customers upon arrival and conduct a thorough preliminary vehicle inspection (Joint Inspection) to identify repair needs.
Create detailed and accurate Job Cards in the Dealer Management System (DMS) including labor estimates and parts requirements.
Explain technical issues to non-technical customers and provide transparent cost estimates for repairs and periodic maintenance.
Actively promote and upsell value-added services (VAS) such as ceramic coating, AC disinfection, and extended warranties to meet revenue targets.
Monitor the progress of vehicles in the workshop and provide proactive status updates to customers throughout the day.
Conduct a final quality check and explain the invoice details to the customer during the vehicle delivery process.
Address customer grievances effectively to ensure high levels of brand loyalty and repeat visits.
Coordinate with the spare parts department and workshop floor supervisor to ensure parts availability and minimize vehicle downtime.
1-3 years of proven experience as a Service Advisor in an authorized automobile dealership.
Hands-on experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) such as SAP, Autoline, or Oracle.
Basic technical understanding of internal combustion engines and automotive electrical systems.
Valid four-wheeler driving license is mandatory for conducting road tests.
Fluency in the local regional language and functional proficiency in English.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Prior experience working with Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, or Mahindra dealerships.
Certification in Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

On-site workshop environment with a standard 6-day work week. Requires standing for extended periods during vehicle inspections and frequent interaction with both technical staff and walk-in customers.
High-performing candidates can transition into roles such as Floor Supervisor, Workshop Manager, or Service Manager. Internal growth is supported through OEM-led advanced technical and management training programs.
