This role involves driving dealership growth by proactively reaching out to potential customers and managing lead generation activities. It serves as the primary touchpoint for introducing vehicle features, ongoing promotions, and scheduling showroom appointments to support the field sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute high-volume outbound calls to prospective customers from the dealership database to generate interest in vehicle models.
- Explain vehicle features, specifications, pricing, and current promotional offers clearly to potential buyers.
- Schedule test drives and showroom visits for Sales Consultants and maintain a daily appointment calendar.
- Maintain and update the Dealer Management System (DMS) or CRM with accurate customer interaction details and lead status.
- Follow up regularly with cold leads or previous inquiries to re-engage interest and move them through the sales funnel.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to provide feedback on lead quality from digital and offline campaigns.
- Handle inbound inquiries regarding vehicle availability and basic technical specifications.
- Ensure timely reporting of daily call volume, lead conversion rates, and appointment show-up ratios to the Sales Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum of 12th pass; Graduates in any stream preferred.
- Fluency in the local language and a working knowledge of English.
- Strong verbal communication and persuasion skills.
- Ability to handle customer objections and maintain a polite demeanor under pressure.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Disciplined approach to achieving daily call and lead generation targets.
Preferred
- Prior experience in an automotive dealership or tele-sales environment.
- Familiarity with CRM software or Dealer Management Systems (DMS).
- Knowledge of current automotive market trends and competitor models.
