This role is responsible for spearheading the electric vehicle sales division by implementing strategic growth plans and managing a high-performing sales team. It focuses on accelerating EV adoption through localized marketing efforts and building strong relationships with both retail and corporate clients within the rapidly evolving Indian green mobility sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Sales Consultants to achieve monthly and quarterly EV sales targets and revenue goals.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies specifically for the electric vehicle segment in the assigned territory.
- Oversee the end-to-end customer journey, from initial inquiry to vehicle delivery and home-charging infrastructure consultation.
- Collaborate with financial institutions and NBFCs to create attractive EV financing and leasing options for customers.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to provide actionable insights to dealership leadership and OEM partners.
- Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction by monitoring CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores and resolving grievances promptly.
- Conduct regular training sessions for the sales team on EV technology, battery range management, and government subsidies like FAME-II and state-specific policies.
- Manage and maintain accuracy in the Dealer Management System (DMS) and CRM for lead tracking and pipeline management.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in automotive sales with a proven track record of target achievement.
- At least 1-2 years of experience specifically within the Electric Vehicle (EV) or premium automotive segment.
- In-depth understanding of the Indian EV ecosystem, including charging infrastructure and government incentives.
- Excellent command over the local language and English for effective client communication.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license and willingness to travel locally for corporate meetings and outdoor events.
- Strong proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint).
Preferred
- Experience with premium automotive brands or high-growth EV startups in the Indian market.
- Existing network with local corporate houses and government departments for bulk/fleet sales.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and lead generation through social media platforms.

Work Environment
Standard 6-day work week in a professional showroom environment; involves on-site client visits, corporate presentations, and participation in weekend promotional events.
