This role involves providing professional vehicle demonstration experiences to prospective customers while ensuring the safe transit of showroom inventory. The focus is on maintaining vehicle readiness and supporting the sales team in achieving seamless delivery and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct professional test drives for customers, ensuring safety and explaining basic vehicle features.
- Transport vehicles between the main showroom, stockyards, RTO offices, and customer locations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of all test drive and display vehicles.
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections including fuel levels, tire pressure, and fluid checks.
- Manage the movement of new vehicles for home delivery and special event displays.
- Maintain accurate records in the vehicle logbook, including mileage, fuel usage, and trip details.
- Strictly adhere to all traffic regulations and dealership safety protocols during vehicle transit.
- Assist the sales team in vehicle placement within the showroom and during promotional roadshows.
Requirements
- Valid Indian Driving License (LMV) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience in a commercial or corporate setup.
- Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles proficiently.
- In-depth knowledge of local city routes and traffic regulations.
- Professional appearance and a customer-centric attitude.
- Basic understanding of vehicle dashboard indicators and routine maintenance.
Preferred
- Previous experience working with an authorized automobile dealership (OEM).
- Valid commercial driving badge.
- Ability to communicate in the local language and basic English.
- Experience driving premium or luxury vehicle segments.
