MIS MANAGER

This role is responsible for overseeing the data management systems and reporting frameworks across dealership operations to drive informed business decisions. It focuses on consolidating performance metrics from sales and service departments to ensure high data integrity and operational transparency for senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and audit daily data entry across the Dealer Management System (DMS) to ensure 100% accuracy in reporting.

• Generate comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for sales, service, and spare parts departments.

• Monitor vehicle inventory ageing and spare parts stock levels to provide actionable insights for working capital optimization.

• Coordinate with OEM representatives for timely submission of mandated reports and incentive claim documentation.

• Develop and maintain executive dashboards highlighting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as retail targets, workshop productivity, and CSI/SSI scores.

• Analyze market trends and historical data to assist management in sales forecasting and resource planning.

• Oversee the reconciliation of operational data with the accounts department for GST compliance and financial auditing.

• Ensure robust data security protocols and regular backups are maintained across all dealership branches.

Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency in Advanced MS Excel including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and complex formulas.

• Proven experience working with Automotive Dealer Management Systems (DMS) like SAP, Autoline, or OEM-specific platforms.

• Strong understanding of Indian automotive dealership operations and reporting standards.

• Ability to handle large datasets with high attention to detail and zero-error tolerance.

• Demonstrated experience in inventory tracking and ageing analysis.

• Excellent analytical skills to translate raw data into strategic business insights.

Preferred

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

• Knowledge of SQL for database querying and custom report generation.

• Prior experience working with a multi-brand dealership group or high-volume OEM.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate in Commerce (B.Com), Computer Applications (BCA/B.Sc IT), or MBA in Operations/Systems.

Experience: 3 to 5 years of MIS experience specifically within the Indian Automotive Industry.

Certifications: Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification, Data Analytics Certification (Preferred)

Work Environment

On-site dealership management office; 6 days per week; standard automotive operational hours (10:00 AM - 7:00 PM).
