This role involves managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle, from recruitment of showroom and workshop staff to payroll coordination and statutory compliance. It ensures a productive work environment by bridging the gap between management and employees within the automotive dealership framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute full-cycle recruitment for sales, service, and technical roles (Technicians/Advisors) to maintain optimal manpower levels.
- Manage daily attendance, leave records, and biometric systems to provide accurate inputs for monthly payroll processing.
- Ensure 100% statutory compliance with PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, and Labor Welfare Fund regulations.
- Coordinate the onboarding process, including document collection, background verification, and orientation for new joiners.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee grievances and maintain healthy industrial relations across the workshop and showroom.
- Organize periodic employee engagement activities and coordinate OEM-mandated training programs for staff development.
- Maintain updated digital and physical employee files in accordance with company policy and audit requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in HR operations, preferably within the Indian retail or automotive sector.
- Solid understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance requirements (PF/ESIC/PT).
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel for data management and reporting.
- Fluency in the local regional language and professional proficiency in English.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality.
Preferred
- MBA or Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDM-HR).
- Prior experience working with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) or standard HRIS platforms.
- Experience in volume hiring for technical roles like Automobile Technicians and Service Advisors.
