This role involves driving automotive sales growth by engaging with prospective customers and guiding them through the entire vehicle purchase journey. It requires a proactive professional dedicated to achieving monthly targets while ensuring a premium showroom experience and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and convert leads through showroom walk-ins, digital enquiries, and field activities to meet monthly sales targets.
- Conduct detailed product demonstrations and vehicle walkarounds, highlighting key features, USPs, and technical specifications.
- Organize and accompany customers on test drives while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and dealership policies.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, including price negotiation, documentation, and coordination with finance and insurance teams.
- Maintain and update the Dealer Management System (DMS) or CRM daily with accurate lead status and follow-up remarks.
- Coordinate with the workshop and stockyard for Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) to ensure timely and error-free vehicle delivery.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to generate referrals and repeat business.
- Participate in outdoor promotional events, corporate displays, and local marketing activations to increase brand visibility.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of proven experience in sales, preferably within the automotive or retail sector.
- A valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving license is mandatory.
- Strong communication skills in the local language and functional proficiency in English.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications like MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment with a focus on monthly KPIs.
- Willingness to work 6 days a week and participate in field visits or home demonstrations.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with an authorized OEM dealership.
- Basic understanding of automobile finance, insurance, and RTO registration processes.
- Experience using CRM software or specialized Dealer Management Systems (DMS).

Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site role based at the dealership showroom. It involves a standard 6-day work week with standard shift timings, requiring significant standing, movement within the showroom, and occasional travel for customer visits.
