This role oversees the complete financial landscape of the dealership, ensuring rigorous adherence to statutory regulations and OEM financial guidelines. The focus is on maintaining fiscal integrity, optimizing working capital, and delivering actionable financial intelligence to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily accounting functions including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Ensure 100% compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory filings, keeping updated with Indian tax amendments.
- Manage and reconcile OEM accounts, ensuring timely processing of incentive claims, spare parts billing, and vehicle stock funding.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly financial statements, including P&L and Balance Sheets, for senior management and OEM reviews.
- Lead the annual audit process by coordinating with external auditors and ensuring all documentation is accurate and ready.
- Monitor cash flow and bank facilities, including the reconciliation of multiple bank accounts and CC limits.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to prevent financial leakages and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Manage and mentor a team of accounts executives, ensuring high standards of productivity and professional ethics.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in core accounting, preferably within the automotive dealership sector.
- Thorough knowledge of GST regulations, TDS provisions, and Indian Accounting Standards.
- Expertise in Tally Prime and experience working with Dealer Management Systems (DMS).
- Proven ability to handle high-volume reconciliations and OEM claim management.
- Strong command over MS Excel for financial reporting and data analysis.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing a finance or accounts team.
Preferred
- Experience in handling multi-location dealership accounts.
- Familiarity with SAP FICO or specialized automotive ERP software.
- Prior experience in managing bank audits and stock audits for automotive inventory.

Work Environment
Standard dealership office environment, on-site, 6 days per week from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
