This role involves driving revenue through the promotion and sale of genuine vehicle accessories to customers during the vehicle delivery process. It focuses on enhancing the customer's ownership experience by recommending personalized solutions that add value and style to their purchase.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with new car buyers to present and sell genuine OEM accessories at the time of vehicle booking and delivery.
- Maintain an updated display of accessories in the showroom to attract customer interest and facilitate demonstrations.
- Coordinate with the workshop and PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) teams to ensure timely and high-quality installation of accessories.
- Manage inventory levels of fast-moving accessories and place replenishment orders through the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Educate customers on the technical benefits, warranty terms, and safety aspects of genuine accessories versus aftermarket products.
- Prepare daily and monthly sales reports tracking accessory penetration rates and revenue targets.
- Achieve monthly value and volume targets as defined by the dealership and the OEM.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in automotive sales, parts, or service departments.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive components and the latest market trends in vehicle customization.
- Proficiency in using Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and Microsoft Excel for reporting.
- Excellent communication and persuasive skills in the local language and English.
- Strong negotiation skills with a customer-centric approach to sales.
- Valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving license.
Preferred
- Previous experience with a reputed 4-wheeler or 2-wheeler OEM dealership.
- Technical background or understanding of vehicle electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience in visual merchandising for retail or automotive displays.
