This role focuses on driving retail growth by managing the end-to-end customer journey from initial inquiry to final vehicle delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets while maintaining high standards of customer service and brand representation within the dealership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and convert leads generated through walk-ins, telephonic inquiries, and digital platforms into vehicle bookings.
- Conduct professional product demonstrations and test drives to explain technical features, safety ratings, and performance metrics to prospective buyers.
- Handle the complete documentation process, including booking forms, finance applications, insurance coordination, and RTO registration paperwork.
- Maintain and update the Dealer Management System (DMS) daily to ensure accurate tracking of the sales funnel and follow-up schedules.
- Cross-sell value-added services such as extended warranties, annual maintenance contracts (AMC), and genuine accessories.
- Coordinate with the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) team and stockyard to ensure vehicles are ready for error-free delivery as per the committed timeline.
- Organize and participate in outdoor sales activities, including corporate displays, apartment activations, and local roadshows.
- Build and sustain long-term customer relationships to drive referrals and ensure high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of proven experience in automotive sales or high-value retail sales.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license with a clean driving record for conducting test drives.
- Fluency in the local regional language and professional proficiency in English.
- Strong understanding of automotive financing, insurance processes, and RTO regulations in India.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment with a 6-day work week including weekends.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with a major OEM-authorized dealership (Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with automotive DMS software like Autoline, SAP, or MS Dynamics.
- Existing network within corporate sectors or local business communities.

Qualifications
Education: Graduate in any stream (B.Com, BBA, B.Sc, or B.A. preferred)

Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site role based at an authorized dealership showroom. It involves a high-energy environment with significant customer interaction and occasional field visits for corporate demos and events.
Growth Opportunities
High-performing executives are eligible for promotion to Senior Sales Consultant or Team Leader roles within 18-24 months, with further paths toward Sales Manager and Branch Head positions.
