Conduct thorough diagnostics of engine, transmission, and electrical systems using advanced OEM scanning tools.
Perform scheduled maintenance, major repairs, and component replacements as per the manufacturer's service manual.
Assist Service Advisors in explaining technical issues and estimated repair costs to customers for transparent communication.
Maintain accurate records of all service activities, labor hours, and parts used within the Dealer Management System (DMS).
Ensure all workshop equipment and diagnostic tools are calibrated and maintained according to safety protocols.
Coordinate with the spare parts department to ensure the availability of necessary components for timely vehicle delivery.
Mentor junior technicians and helpers on the shop floor to improve overall workshop productivity and technical accuracy.
Adhere strictly to 5S workplace organization standards and environmental safety guidelines for hazardous waste disposal.
1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in an authorized automotive service center or dealership.
Strong technical understanding of internal combustion engines, drivetrain, and automotive electrical systems.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as OBD scanners, multimeters, and battery testers.
Ability to read and interpret complex technical manuals and electrical wiring diagrams.
Valid four-wheeler driving license for conducting vehicle road tests post-repair.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced workshop environment with a 6-day work week.
Previous experience working with a major Indian or International OEM (e.g., Tata Motors, Mahindra, Hyundai).
Basic knowledge of Electric Vehicle (EV) high-voltage systems and safety protocols.
Familiarity with standard Dealer Management Systems like SAP, Autoline, or internal OEM software.
