Responsible for driving dealership revenue growth by leading a high-performing sales team and ensuring seamless showroom operations. This role involves strategic planning to meet monthly targets while maintaining high standards of customer service and brand compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Sales Consultants and Team Leaders to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Monitor and optimize the sales funnel using CRM and DMS tools to ensure high lead-to-booking conversion rates.
- Coordinate with the OEM for inventory planning, scheme implementation, and marketing support.
- Manage showroom floor operations, ensuring all display vehicles and sales processes adhere to brand standards.
- Handle customer escalations effectively to maintain a high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) score.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training to the sales team on product knowledge and soft skills.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to develop local sales strategies and promotional events.
- Oversee the coordination between sales, finance, and delivery departments for a smooth customer experience.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive retail sales with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of dealership operations and the Indian automotive market.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the local regional language.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, target-driven environment.
Preferred
- Experience working with Tier-1 or premium automotive brands.
- Proficiency in using Dealer Management Systems (DMS) such as Autoline, SAP, or MS Dynamics.
- Existing network and relationships with local corporate clients and fleet operators.
- MBA in Marketing or Sales from a recognized institution.
