This role involves driving retail growth by identifying potential leads and converting them into satisfied vehicle owners through exceptional product demonstrations and relationship management. It focuses on managing the end-to-end customer journey from initial inquiry to final delivery and post-sales engagement within a high-performance dealership environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct proactive lead generation through cold calling, field visits, and digital inquiries to maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Perform detailed product demonstrations and facilitate vehicle test drives while explaining technical specifications and unique selling propositions (USPs).
- Manage the complete sales process including price negotiation, booking documentation, and coordination of the final delivery ceremony.
- Liaise with the Finance and Insurance (F&I) team to assist customers with loan documentation, EMI calculations, and insurance policy selection.
- Ensure 100% data accuracy in the Dealer Management System (DMS) and CRM by updating lead status and follow-up schedules daily.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly retail targets for vehicles, genuine accessories, and value-added services (VAS).
- Conduct post-delivery follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and solicit referrals to expand the customer base.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor pricing, and new product launches to provide consultative advice to walk-in customers.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of proven experience in automotive retail or high-value consumer durable sales.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license with a clean driving record for conducting customer test drives.
- Proficiency in the local language of the region and professional communication skills in English.
- Strong understanding of the Indian automotive market, RTO processes, and vehicle financing options.
- Ability to work a flexible 6-day schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed monthly sales quotas in a target-driven environment.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with authorized dealerships of major OEM brands like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata, or Mahindra.
- Advanced certification in professional sales training or CRM software usage.
- Existing network of corporate clients or local influencers for lead generation.

Work Environment
The role is based on-site at a modern automotive showroom. It requires 6 days of work per week with a standard shift of 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, involving significant face-to-face customer interaction and occasional outdoor visits for corporate displays or test drives.
