This role focuses on high-level diagnostic and mechanical repair tasks within a high-volume authorized service center. The position is critical for ensuring vehicle safety and performance standards are met while guiding junior technicians through complex mechanical troubleshooting processes.
Perform complex engine overhauling, transmission repairs, and suspension overhauls according to OEM standards.
Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and OBD scanners to identify and rectify electronic and mechanical faults accurately.
Ensure all repair work adheres strictly to brand-specific guidelines and safety protocols to maintain vehicle warranty.
Mentor and supervise junior technicians and apprentices to improve overall workshop productivity and repair quality.
Conduct final quality checks and road tests to ensure zero-defect delivery and high customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, parts consumption, and labor time within the Dealer Management System (DMS).
Collaborate with Service Advisors to provide technical insights and accurate time estimates for customer repairs.
Manage the inventory of specialized workshop tools and ensure all equipment is calibrated and maintained.
Extensive hands-on experience in an OEM authorized workshop or high-end multi-brand service center.
Proven expertise in internal combustion engine (ICE) diagnostics and heavy mechanical repairs.
Proficiency in using computerized diagnostic equipment and specialized pneumatic tools.
Valid four-wheeler driving license for conducting vehicle road tests.
Ability to interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins.
Strong understanding of workshop safety norms and hazardous waste disposal.
Experience working with premium or luxury automotive brands.
Basic certification or training in Electric Vehicle (EV) high-voltage safety and components.
Previous experience in a Team Lead or Floor Supervisor capacity.

Certifications: OEM Technical Certification (Level 3 or 4), Pollution Under Control (PUC) operation certification (Optional)
Standard 6-day work week in a fast-paced on-site workshop environment with standard shift timings (9 AM - 6 PM).
Potential to transition into roles such as Workshop Manager, Service Manager, or specialized Technical Trainer within the company’s expanding dealership network.
