This role involves driving vehicle sales by building strong relationships with prospective buyers and guiding them through the entire purchase journey. The focus is on delivering a premium customer experience while achieving monthly retail targets and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction within a dynamic dealership environment.
Manage the end-to-end sales process for walk-in customers and digital leads, ensuring a professional and engaging experience.
Conduct detailed product demonstrations and vehicle walkarounds to highlight key features, USPs, and technical specifications.
Coordinate and execute test drives in compliance with company safety protocols and OEM standards.
Provide expert consultation on vehicle financing, insurance, and exchange programs to assist customers in making informed decisions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Dealer Management System (DMS) and CRM for lead tracking and follow-ups.
Facilitate the vehicle delivery process, ensuring all documentation is complete and the customer receives a memorable handover experience.
Collaborate with the accessories and service departments to maximize value-added sales per vehicle.
Participate in outdoor promotional activities, corporate displays, and roadshows to generate new leads.
Minimum of a Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
At least 2 to 5 years of experience in automotive sales or high-value retail sales.
Valid four-wheeler driving license and high proficiency in driving for conducting test drives.
Fluency in the local language and a strong command of English for professional communication.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a target-driven environment.
Familiarity with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) such as Autoline, SAP, or similar CRM tools.
Prior experience working with an authorized OEM dealership (Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, Mahindra, etc.).
Certification in automotive sales or customer relationship management.
Knowledge of local RTO regulations and automotive insurance processes.
Existing network of corporate clients or local influencers.

This is a full-time, on-site role based at the dealership showroom. Standard working hours are 6 days a week, including weekends, with a compensatory off on a weekday. The role requires a professional dress code and occasional travel for home visits or corporate events.
High-performing Sales Consultants have a clear career path leading to Senior Sales Consultant, Team Leader, and eventually Sales Manager or Assistant General Manager positions within the dealership network.
