This role involves driving dealership revenue through strategic sales planning and robust team leadership within the competitive automotive market. It focuses on achieving monthly retail targets, managing OEM relationships, and ensuring high customer satisfaction scores to maintain brand reputation.
Lead and mentor a team of Sales Consultants and Team Leaders to consistently achieve monthly sales volume and revenue targets.
Monitor and optimize the sales funnel from lead generation to vehicle delivery using Dealer Management Systems (DMS).
Maintain strong relationships with OEM representatives and ensure strict compliance with brand standards and audit requirements.
Manage inventory levels and aging stock while coordinating with the service department for timely Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI).
Oversee Finance & Insurance (F&I) integration to maximize penetration of value-added services per vehicle sold.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to develop localized marketing and promotional strategies.
Resolve escalated customer grievances to maintain high Brand Power and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.
Conduct daily morning huddles and weekly performance reviews to track conversion ratios and lead quality.
Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive sales with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
In-depth knowledge of the Indian automotive market, including local consumer behavior and seasonal trends.
Proficiency in Dealer Management Systems (DMS) such as Autoline, SAP, or Oracle-based platforms.
Strong understanding of vehicle financing, insurance processes, and RTO regulations.
Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team of 10-15 members.
Valid four-wheeler driving license and a professional appearance aligned with brand standards.
Experience handling both New Car Sales and Exchange (Pre-owned) business units.
Established network with local banks, NBFCs, and corporate HR departments for bulk tie-ups.
Prior experience working with a Tier-1 Passenger Vehicle or Commercial Vehicle OEM.

On-site dealership environment with a 6-day work week. Requires active presence on the showroom floor and occasional travel for corporate meetings and field activations.
High-performing managers are eligible for promotion to General Manager (Sales) or Regional Sales Head roles within the group’s multi-brand dealership network.
